whew. finally done this picture.
started in late may. i drew it on a sketch pad, scanned it, colored it, added a few things, shaded it, and here we are. easily over 40 hours of work with 142 layers (not counting the 20 or so layers that i merged) i tried to capture the innocent, happy feel of yoshi's island and i'm actually pleased with the outcome. after looking at it, i dont know how i did it because it looks nothing like im usually capable of doing. i may tweak it here or there a little bit, and maybe change the color of yoshi.. im also not sure if i like the foreground blurred. but to be honest i never want to touch this picture again. at least not for a while this song from the game fits the picture: [link] hope you guys enjoy it |
